Tapping into the Power of the Cross
We often lose our bearings when we encounter the Cross. Scripture tells us not to be surprised by the fiery ordeal that is upon us. The Saints tell us that the "Cross is the Kiss of Jesus." Maybe you've tried to avoid the Cross but find that it always finds you, willing or not. If you have ever asked, "Why does God allow obstacles and painful difficulties?" this retreat is for you.
Find deeper meaning in living the ups and downs of the Cross and connect this to how we celebrate the Mass and the Sacraments. Engage the everyday and sometimes extraordinary crosses in our lives as ways and means to holiness and growth in the spiritual life, how to experience the love of God in the midst of challenges. Connect our personal lives to the mystery of the Cross and the Eucharist. With more than 10 years experience offering retreats, Mary draws individuals and groups to spiritual growth and active service. Invite her to present a retreat or conference at your parish.
On Site: This can be offered as a three day parish mission or a single day parish retreat for families, women's groups and mens ministry. On Line: This five-week formation experience meets once a week for four weeks in an online environment and wraps up with a fifth week that supports independent relfection and application. Sessions are supported with weekly reading, prayer and activies. The $35 registration fee can be paid through PayPal or by check.
